As part of my annual Christmas card jobs, I collaborated with a junior art director–my 4 year old daughter. She drove the concept and even reworked my comps! (obviously they weren’t “on-concept” and so she corrected them). Here is the sketch that she worked on with me (marker, pencil and Photoshop) and the final vector art.

I had a great time drawing caricatures at the Doggie Dash& Dawdle this past Sunday. Thanks to everyone who came out for a drawing.

I will be hosting this week’s free figure drawing at the Southwest University of Visual Arts in it’s triumphant return. Now it’s on Wednesday Nights 7pm – 9pm starting tomorrow, November 9th. All mediums and skill levels welcomed. Free and open to the public.
