I had a the opportunity to illustrate a series of 38 illustrations for a book teaching English as a second language. They pencil drawings were executed on my new favorite paper–Stipple Paper from Bee Paper. It’s pebble surface creates a uniform texture that simulate stippled tones. This must have been what Andrew Loomis and Jack Hamm used in their drawing instruction books. I dig that look.
You’ve seen dragon illustrations, unicorn illustrations but this might be the first “Boss Dragon Unicorn” illustration! This commission was digitally painted in Photoshop.

Welcome to the world of “Medieval Enchantment” or “Encanto Medieval.” I had the opportunity to illustrate this short fantasy story for Donovan Estrada. It was a digitally sketched and painted in Photoshop.
Gravity Labs Radio is the premier skydiving podcast brought to you by Nick Lott and DJ Marvin. I had the opportunity to illustrate them in the studio along with Nick Lott as “Mr P”. Gradients with transparency and path width profiles were key to this vector style.
