It was a triumphant return for the Duke City Roller Derby home teams this past Saturday. The Juggernaughties beat the Madame Bombs and the Disco Brawlers beat the Dooms Dames. It was a great time! My good friend, Pam, just recently got married and I had the honor of illustrating her wedding invitation and this keepsake portrait. This Summer, I had the tremendous opportunity to work with some talented young artist at Artfest ’15. We worked on digital art tools and techniques but many of these students already were making digital art in high school! Here is a caricature of the group. It was hard to get everyone to smile while riding the rainicorn!
